[Late on the night of the 1st, Edward returns from yet another mission, though this time it was combat-related, so he's walking a bit cautiously with a slight limp on his left side. His first stop is House 22, to visit the previously-next-door doctor. After that it's home, and while he does try to sneak in, Al's probably still awake and home anyway. He will, however, be out of bed before noon and at the breakfast table come morning. Acting like nothing at all is wrong, naturally!
During the course of the day, though, he has a couple of visits to make. One of them is the smithy, since he fully expects to have missed Winry at her house in the morning, though if he doesn't find her at work he'll pop by her place later. Another visit is to Ling's apartment, for a conversation that's probably long overdue. Finally, he'll be heading home for a rather serious chat with a certain father figure he has yet to be able to call "Dad".
Anyone's free to bump into him at any time or place, otherwise. He'll be out and about for most of the day.]

But when Ed shows up, Ran Fan is ready to leave the apartment, just to get out and do something. She wasn't weak, but she certainly felt like it. And when she sees him, she stops in place, happy to have her mask on once again. Trying to act like nothing was wrong, Ran Fan bows.]
Edward. Are you here to visit Ling?
action; good thing masa's such a speed tagger
...Uuuugh. He still hasn't dealt with that, either. But that's why he's here in the first place, so let's take it like a man, dammit.]
I was, but he met me before I even got here. What is it with you guys and sneaking up on people?
action; XD
I did not mean to. [Yup. Back to being all business like for her. Even more so with Edward.] Though, I did wish to see you.

In Xing, it's usually customary to bring a gift of food when you come to someone's door.

[One sleepy voice pitched to reached to reach outside. Law was in bed and there was someone rap-tap-rapping at his door. So he scrambles to throw on a robe, and some slippers, and not trip over his cat dancing around his feet.
Given the little rascal won't quit until she gets some attention, Law scoops her up in his arms, and trugs downstairs to open the door.
What shall he see when he opens it?]

...Hey. Do you do house calls? The clinic's kind of out of my way.
[Reverse house calls, that is. He'd rather avoid this getting back to his family.]

Sumire wriggles in his arms as she spots the man. And Law knows that as soon as he puts her down, she'll do what she normally does and race up to the guy to greet him.]
Sure do. Come on in. Kitchen's this way. I'll get my stuff.

The viking looks a little deflated, but otherwise fine, all things considered. He's trying to keep a stiff upper lip, and all. The Pokemon is pretty distracting, too, from the whole Astrid-went-home situation.]

Edward?

The blond can find her snoozing, sprawled out on the smithy's couch. One might say she's vulnerable like that - sleeping in a public place littered with weapons - but she sleeps with no worries. In all honest her complete faith in Sokka is what allows her to sleep soundly in the smithy when she occasionally takes her naps. So, Ed, why not wake her up?]
[Action]
He ponders waking her up the way he recalls doing before, but- that was the girl version, and he'd rather not associate himself with her much. So instead he crouches down, giving her forehead a poke.]
Oi, Winry. Wake up!

Hey, Miss Gracia- thanks. It was kind of nice to get out of the village, though.
