[It's been a few days since Gracia was sent home, and Edward has suddenly found himself to be in something of an awkward position: without her primary caregiver around, Elicia needs somebody to watch her. Winry is the logical choice, but she actually has a job, so she can't be around all the time. It's true that he keeps himself busy, but the truth is that most of his time is eaten up with studying, trips back and forth to the library, and keeping himself fit. The library and exercise business can be done with a kid around, no problem, but to study he kind of needs... you know, quiet. And Elicia is a self-starter, but you can't just leave kids unsupervised for hours and hours. It's irresponsible.

So now he's... what, a stay-at-home dad until school starts?

Hey, uh... a couple questions. What're some good ways to keep a little kid entertained? And... you know, if you've got any advice for caring for one in general, I'll take it. It's not something I've really done that much...

And the other question is- are there any trustworthy babysitters around? In case- ...yeah.

Do you get sick a lot or something? [It just seemed like an odd thing to mention out of the blue- though now that she's mentioned it, he had noticed that she was kind of sickly the last few times they met.]

I do, yes. Last time we met during that one experiment, I was actually sick, so... But um... my body isn't very strong at all, so I get sick pretty easily, and for long periods of time, too. I had to repeat a year in school back at home because of it.

[It's not much a problem here in Luceti now though, especially considering how Leon did give her that Healing Ring for her birthday.]

Mm, it's a little difficult at times, but it's alright. I haven't felt very ill at all since the last time I was sick, so it's not too much of a problem right now, I think.

Well, good. [Even if he doesn't know her very well, people frequently getting ill makes him a little twitchy.] Living in a place like this probably doesn't help with that kind of thing.
